Torchwood: Miracle Day is a British television series that is based on science fiction. The show is actually a spin-off of another long running series entitled “Doctor Who”. Jane Espenson of Torchwood talks about the Show

‘Torchwood’ recently did something unusual with the episodes as they began to air jut one episode titled ‘Miracle Day’ that had ten parts. And while writer of the show Jane Espenson is reported to have said that she is particularly proud of this episode, the reaction of fans of the show has been mixed.

But she described the fans of the show as being passionate. She said she had never seen a more passionate set of fans so there voice had played a big role in what is said to be the last season. She said she was fully involved in this and that it turned out amazingly well.

There was a mini-series that was aired in 2009 titled ‘Children of the Earth’. Espenson went on to say that both can’t be compared as such as ‘Children of the Earth’ was something that can’t really be beaten. She said they did things with the show that was not normally seen on American television.

While star of the show John Barrowman said sometime last year that the show was in limbo, his statement was quickly countered by Starz CEO who later said that it was still possible to revive the show.
